One of the most common misconceptions of acne came that the syndrome was poor hygiene. Even as you read now you can still be of that view, yet there is no scientific evidence to prove that this is completely true. Another misconception is the idea of acne that is caused by an incorrect type of diet. In ancient times, the acne was once probably a curse of gods, and treated the patients as lepers once.
